The aggrieved residents had met the administrator and apprised him of the ground reality leading to a water crisis every summer. The DLF has not interlinked water storage of all blocks such as U, V, S etc for the uniform distribution of water. It has not constructed additional water storage tanks for the residents of V Block (V-12 to V-41), T Bock, W Block, S Block (EWS), S Block (S-8 to S-21). Besides, it hasn’t implemented the dual water supply system.

However, Baljeet Singh, estate manager, DLF Limited, said, “We have completed most of these works.”

The residents rued that DLF officials did not turn up to meet them on Monday, while they waited for them in the scorching sun. “The Huda administrator had directed us to speak to DLF to find a solution to our demands as put forth during the protest,” said Joginder Singh, RWA president, DLF City Phase-III.
