Following complaints of alleged misappropriation of society funds and multiple memberships by relatives against Huda, a group of residents had approached chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

The CM had then ordered senior officials to look into the matter.

In his order, additional chief secretary Krishna Mohan said, "The details of the allegations mentioned in the revision petition, if found to be correct, can be a serious offence … The private respondents and their family members are restrained to alienate their membership or their flats till the completion of the special audit and enquiry which shall be completed within three months."
