The city police have booked a 22-year-old engineering student over charges of raping his girlfriend for two months.

According to the police, the accused had also threatened to post video clippings on social networking websites and circulate MMSes. He allegedly threatened to kill her too if she refused to compromise.

Javed Khan, a resident of Tauru (Mewat), was a third year student at an engineering college and he befriended 19-year-old Purnima (name changed) during a computer course in November 2009. They had been in a relationship since then and had agreed to get married.

However, on January 30, the girl told her parents that Khan was blackmailing her and had been sexually exploiting her for two months.

The victim belongs to a village near Bilaspur in Gurgaon.
