Online power bills payment a hit in city
The facility to pay electricity bill online has become a hit with residents. As per official records, 9,519 consumers paid bills worth a total of Rs 4.9 crore in November.

The facility to pay electricity bill online has become a hit with residents. As per official records, 9,519 consumers paid bills worth a total of Rs 4.9 crore in November.
The service is available at 13 operation sub-divisions of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) in Gurgaon, Faridabad and Hisar. In October, the service generated Rs 4.12 crore in bills through 7,533 transactions. Out of the total number of consumers who availed the service, more than 6,000 are from Gurgaon.
A DHBVN spokesperson said that electricity consumers in Faridabad, Gurgaon and Hisar could pay their bills any time online on www.dhbvn.com. The payment can also be made through internet banking, credit card and debit card.
