The police arrested Ravi from near his village, Khalilpur, in Pataudi and presented him before a judge in the Pataudi court. The court sent Ravi to police remand for eight days.

The victim, Yogesh, was also a resident of the same village.

Pataudi SHO Lalchand said that the police would question Ravi and try and find out the hideouts of the four other accused.

Ravi is the brother of Rahul — the man who was killed by the deceased Yogesh.

As mentioned earlier, Yogesh was out of prison on parole when he was hacked to death. He was serving his sentence for the murder of a youth named Rahul.
