The 33-year-old complainant, resident of Dwarka in Delhi, has accused the police of high-handedness.

An FIR was registered against accused Abhishek Pandita (31) at the Sushant Lok police station following a court order on Friday, the same day he got married to another woman.

“The police was informed about the incident. But they haven’t initiated any action,” alleged the complainant.

However, the police denied charges and said it was investigating the matter and will take action soon. The woman, who is already married, claimed that she got into a relationship with Pandita in 2008 after her first marriage.

She alleged that Pandita had been raping her on the pretext of marriage from the last four years.

“If I knew he would abandon me, I wouldn’t have agreed to a relationship,” said the woman claiming that she and her husband have agreed for a mutual divorce.
