Ryan murder: Victim’s father turns down free education offers for daughter
Some schools in Gurgaon have offered to provide her admission and free education up to class 12. He said he turned down the proposals as he did not want a ‘free offer’ from anyone.
The father of the eight-year-old boy, who was killed in Ryan school on September 8, has rejected offers of free education from several schools for his 11-year-old daughter, a Class 5 girl of the same school.

Some schools have offered to provide her admission and free education up to class 12. He said he turned down the proposals as he did not want a ‘free offer’ from anyone.
The father said there is no question of continuing his daughter’s education in the same school but it is too early to decide her next school.
The decision would be taken keeping her safety and security in mind, he said.
“My daughter is also very upset. They both used to go together to the school and also met during the recess. The atmosphere in the school will not let her forget the incident. I do not want her to be under trauma each day, as it will affect her studies and mental growth,” he said on Tuesday.
The sister of the victim learnt about the incident only when she returned home after her exam. She did not believe that her brother was no more.
“It is too early to decide where I will shift my daughter. At present, I am not in a situation to even think of her school admission but will take a decision after discussing with her mother,” the father added.
The victim’s mother is also scared to send her daughter to the same school. The family is suspecting a conspiracy in the murder and they feel their daughter could be the next target.
The family members and relatives of the class 2 victim have alleged that more people are involved in the case and there were some past incidents that led to the murder. “Till the mystery unfolds we will not send the girl to the school,” said a relative.
On Friday, the victim’s father dropped his two children to school. After leaving the victim outside the class, his sister had gone to her class. Later, the boy was found with his throat slit outside a toilet. A day later, a 42-year-old school bus conductor was arrested.
