An FIR was filed at Sector 5 Police Station under 392 (robbery) of Indian Penal Code and Arms Act, based on a complaint by the supervisor of the liquor vend. Around 10pm on Wednesday, the duo came in a car and bought liquor from the store in New Railway Station Road, in which there were two salesmen, police said.

“After buying liquor, they took out pistols and asked the salesmen to give all the money,” the ASI said. Kumar said that the accused also stole the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) of CCTVs installed in the vend.

“Both the accused had pistols. We are yet to identify them or the car in which they came to the liquor vend,” the ASI said.
