Reduce stress: Stress is the one of the biggest reasons for back pain. Explain your condition to your colleagues, especially seniors. They’ll understand and put lesser strain on you.
Avoid overexertion: If there is already pain, don’t push yourself. Listen to your body and do only as much work as your body can take.
Temperature check: Complete bed rest is not the right thing to do. It’s important that you move your body to an extent that is comfortable.
Do stretching: After long hours of work, always get up and stretch and walk while talking on the mobile phone. If there is a gym at your office, take a sports medicine doctors advice and start working out.
Right posture: Sit in a good posture while at work and have a good ergonomic environment. In fact don’t be in one single position for a very long duration.
Remain in motion: Don’t get water, tea or coffee delivered to your table. Move about to get them.
