Here's what you can do to strengthen your nails and make them healthy.
1 Oiling would help: Apply almond oil or olive oil regularly. This will make your nails strong and healthy. If your nails are thin then rubbing vinegar or lime is beneficial.
2 Use quality products: The thumb rule is to always use quality products otherwise nails will start cracking and will become very weak. Another thing is to to make sure that the nail paint remover is acetone free as it dries nail plates.
3 Nail massage: Massage your nails with a good nail cream on regular basis to soften nail walls. If you’re not able to do it on regular basis, then atleast three times a week, a good massage is a must.
4 Follow a routine: Trim your nails regularly and get manicure after every 15 days from a good salon.
5 Food wise: Consume food rich in Biotin, Iodine, Vitamin A, Calcium and Iron. The most common causes for breaking down of nails are strong detergents and water. Try and limit the exposure of nails to water as it leads to brittle nails. Use rubber gloves while doing dishes.
