After receiving his star, the 50-year-old actor paid tribute to his wife Livia in an emotional speech. “I want to thank everybody that has accompanied me on this extraordinary journey, especially Livia who has walked every step of this with me joyfully and truthfully. When I look down there at that star, it’s her name I see,” he said.
The couple have two sons together and the actor also has a son from a previous relationship with actor Meg Tilly. His star is situated right next to fellow British star Emma Thomp-son’s. Firth is in Los Angeles for Golden Globe Awards, where he’s up for the Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama Award for
