An update on Daniel Craig’s status as James Bond

The 25th James Bond film gets an update: Frequent writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade will pen the script, and Daniel Craig is still in the mix.

James Bond screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are gearing up to write the new, as-yet-untitled 007 film.

Daniel Craig has played James Bond in four films.

The writing duo are frequent collaborators with the 007 franchise, having penned many Bond pictures including Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre, the latter of which they boarded at a later stage, reported Deadline.

However, it is still unclear as to whether or not Daniel Craig will reprise his role as 007 but producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson are keen for him to return.
