This is the perfect time to release a big-budget Hollywood film in India. At least that is what the box office figures of some of the recently-released Hollywood flicks suggest. The trend which was begun by Furious 7, has been maintained by this week’s release Captain America – Civil War. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film’s opening-day business.

Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book is still going strong at the ticket window. In fact, it has defeated all the big Bollywood releases in 2016 by a huge margin. So far, it has garnered close to Rs 171 crore at the domestic box office.
Earlier, Furious 7 (Rs 172 cr), Jurassic World (Rs 152 cr) and Avengers - Age Of Ultron (Rs 111 cr) did wonders in the Indian markets.
On the other hand, Hindi film like 1920 London failed to bring in the crowds.
