Lunching with the stars
Hollywood actors sprinkled some stardust at the Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, that took place in LA, on Monday. A prelude to the 84th Academy Awards, that will be held on February 26, the Luncheon saw Oscar nominees having a good time.
Actor George Clooney, a frontrunner in the best actor category for The Descen-dants, said the best thing about Academy Awards nominations is hanging with old and new pals.
“A lot of people think we all hang out together... they think we’re always at the Hilton drinking champagne. The truth is I hadn’t seen Brad (Pitt) in about a year… So it’s fun to catch up and see people I like and haven’t seen in a long time,” he said at the luncheon.
Pitt is competing with Clooney in the best-actor category for his film, Moneyball. The odds, though, favour French actor Jean Dujardin, nominated for his role in the silent movie, The Artist. The Oscars will air in India on Feb 27 on Star Movies.
