US-based Indian filmmaker Mira Nair is working on a Broadway musical adaptation of her much-acclaimed movie Monsoon Wedding.

“I am also doing a Broadway musical adaptation of my earlier film Monsoon Wedding, which will be released in the spring of 2012,” Nair said, at the 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which was held in Goa. “I am also working on a mini television series, but it is still in the early stages,” she said.
