Quentin Tarantino breaks silence on rape allegations against ‘friend’ Harvey Weinstein

Director Quentin Tarantino has said he is still in shock over the allegations made against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

Celebrated director Quentin Tarantino has finally broken his silence over the sexual harassment allegations surrounding frequent collaborator Harvey Weinstein.

Quentin Tarantino has said through Amber Tamblyn how he is still in pain over the revelations made about Harvey Weinstein.

Tarantino addressed the allegations against his friend of 25 years via a tweet from Amber Tamblyn, reported Variety.

The actor posted a statement on friend Tarantino’s behalf, which reads, “For the last week, I’ve been stunned and heartbroken about the revelations that have come to light about my friend for 25 years Harvey Weinstein. I need a few more days to process my pain, emotions, anger and memory and then I will speak publicly about it.”

Weinstein has produced most of Tarantino’s films Pulp Fiction, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight.

Many in the media have questioned the silence of Hollywood men in the wake of Weinstein scandal which grows bigger everyday with many female actors such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Cara Delevingne, Heather Graham and many others opening up about Weinstein.

Around three dozen women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment at the hands of the producer after a New York Times expose and the New Yorker article that broadened the claims to include rape.
