Cyclone Vardah pics and videos: Rainfall, gusty winds in TN, AP

The locals shared images and videos of the gusty winds and heaving downpour on social media and the visuals are chilling.

With “very severe” Cyclone Vardah hitting the coast near Chennai, strong winds and heavy rainfall lashed parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on Monday.

Thousands were evacuated to safety. The National Disaster Response Force and naval teams were gearing up for rescue and relief efforts.
