The Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Amausi airport in Lucknow on Tuesday to participate in the Dussehra celebrations.

Modi was received by the governor Ram Naik, Union home minister Rajnath Singh and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.

6pm: Upon arrival, he headed straight to the historic Aishbagh grounds, which was secured by the PM’s special protection group in advance. A huge hoarding that reads “welcome to the avengers of Uri” greeted Modi at the grounds.
