Modi to travel to Philippines for India-ASEAN summit on Nov 14; to discuss trade, ties
The external ministry announced the Prime Minister’s trip on Thursday and said the two countries would discuss trade and other regional issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be travelling to the Philippines on November 12 to attend the India-ASEAN and East Asia summits on November 14 during which bilateral trade and investments as well as other key issues will be discussed.

Preeti Saran, secretary (East) in the external ministry, on Thursday said the two sides will review the bilateral trade and investments and discuss important regional issues as well during the summit.
Ministry officials also said the government is working on bilateral meetings between the prime minister and other leaders on the sidelines of these summits.
