Police, however, said they had arrested Samiullah and raids were on to nab the other accused.
The victim’s father told reporters that his daughter was raped and wooden sticks as well as the barrel of a pistol were forced inside her private parts. “But the accused managed to get the medical report changed,” he alleged.
However, civil surgeon Dr Prashat Kumar said the report of the medical board constituted to examine the victim suggested no injury in her private parts. He said the report could not confirm rape as the examination was delayed.
The Bihar State Human Rights Commission also issued a notice to the East Champaran SP in connection with the gangrape.
