PM Narendra Modi begins Varanasi visit today: Itinerary of his two-day trip

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin a two-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi on Friday and is scheduled to inaugurate projects covering sectors such as infrastructure, railways, financial inclusion and sanitation.
Here are highlights of PM Modi’s travel schedule, according to his office:
*On September 22, PM Modi will flag off the Mahamana Express through a video link. The train will connect Varanasi with Surat and Vadodara in Gujarat. He will dedicate to the nation the Deendayal Hastkala Sankul – a trade facilitation centre for handicraft – at Bada Lalpur.
*At the same venue, the PM will inaugurate services of the Utkarsh Bank, which specialises in micro-finance. He will unveil a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone of the headquarters building of the bank.
*He will later dedicate a Jal Ambulance service, and a Jal Shav Vahan service to the city through a video link.
*On Friday evening, Modi will visit the Tulsi Manas Temple in Varanasi. He will release a postal stamp on “Ramayana.” He will later visit the Durga Mata Temple in the city.
*On September 23, the PM will participate in a sanitation-related activity in Shahanshahpur village. The PM will later distribute certificates to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural and Urban), and will address a gathering.
