Woman thrown out of train for resisting molestation bid in Haryana, dies
The woman’s husband, who was waiting for them at the Tohana railway station, said his son was inconsolable when he narrated to him how his mother was pushed from the train.
A 30-year-old woman was allegedly thrown out of a running train for fighting back a man who tried to molest her, near Haryana’s Tohana station in Fatehabad, police said on Friday. A 28-year-old man, who was allegedly inebriated at the time of the incident, has been arrested in connection with the case, an official said.

The incident took place around 9.30pm on Thursday, when the woman and her nine-year-old son boarded a passenger train near Lakhan Majra in Rohtak to travel to Tohana, said an official. The entire coach was empty, except for the three passengers, when the accused approached the victim, the official added.

The victim’s body was found on the railway track near the Tohana station on Friday morning, he added.
When the train pulled into the station at Tohana town in Fatehabad, the woman’s husband saw the child alone, crying, the police said, adding that the child then told his father what happened.
