Three independent MLAs from Jharkhand, who were served with disqualification notices by the assembly speaker, moved the Supreme Court on Friday seeking to restrain him from taking up action against them.

The petition moved by Enos Ekka, Stephen Marandi and Kamlesh Kumar Singh was mentioned by advocate KV Viswanathan before a bench headed by Chief Justice YK Sabharwal, which decided to hear it on Monday.
