30 IAS officers transferred in Bihar

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Nitish Kumar Government in Bihar has transferred 30 IAS officers.

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Nitish Kumar Government in Bihar has transferred 30 IAS officers.

The IAS officers transferred included the Cabinet Secretary and the Member of Board of Revenue.

Agriculture production commissioner KD Sinha has been appointed member board of revenue, while Cabinet Secretary SS Sharma will be the new additional finance commissioner, according to a notification issued by the personnel and administrative reforms department late on Thursday night.

Additional Finance Commissioner AK Chaudhan will be the new Cabinet Secretary.

Minor Irrigation Secretary AK Sinha has been made Agriculture Production Commissioner, while Urban Development Department Secretary SS Verma has been appointed secretary of the Minor Irrigation department. PK Basu, who was awaiting will be the Secretary of the Urban development department.

Managing Director of the COMPFED Girish Shanker has been made secretary institutional finance and programme implementation and hold additional charge of member secretary, Administrative Reforms Commission. Amir Subhani will be the COMPFED Managing Director.

Managing Director of Bihar State Finance Corporation Brajesh Mehrotra has been promoted and made Managing Director of state Food Corporation. Additional chief electoral officer (CEO) Deepak Prasad has been elevated as special CEO.

Special Secretary rural engineering organisation SP Sinha has been made project director of Bihar State AIDS Control Society and will hold additional charge of executive director Bihar State Health Society, the notification said.
