Official sources said no untoward incidents were reported from any of the polling stations during the re-voting.

An estimated 45 to 50 per cent voting was recorded at the polling stations in Siwan where RJD strongman Mohammed Shahabuddin is pitted against Amarnath Yadav (CPI-ML).

Election Commission had on April 29 ordered repolling at the booths following complaints of large-scale electoral malpractices.
