Aishwarya Rai who is in New York these days to attend Pink Panther 2 premiere is said to be receiving a prestigious French honour.

The actress is also planning to celebrate hubby Abhishek Bachchan's birthday (February 5) there along with Bachchan family.

But a source informs that Aishwarya will accept the honour only if her ailing father gets well by that time.

Aishwarya Rai's name has recently been announced for Padmashri by Indian government.
