These include development of 100 acres of city forests and expediting the construction of the Northern peripheral and the Link Road connecting NH-58 with NH-24 in Ghaziabad.

“The CM has given us the go-ahead to give the city a cosmopolitan look,” GDA Vice-Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav told Hindustan Times.

The GDA has proposed to develop a 100-acre forest area near the air force station at Hindon. The land belongs to the municipal corporation and has been identified.
