Ten years ago Arun fell from first floor of his house and had his right leg severely damaged. The leg didn’t develop as normal since. But Arun remained indomitable. “Though I have problem in my right leg, self-motivation encouraged me to lead life like others,” said Arun.

Amazingly, he is the opener of his team and at many occasions made his team win. When asked about any problem being faced by him in playing cricket, he replied that he has problem in running between the wickets. “I always take runner with me. I play shots and he runs for me,” said Arun.

On fielding, he said he fields in close positions so that he does have to run. “I believe that there is noting like impossible in this world, the need is to prove yourself even in odd situations”, said Arun, a Class X student. Even cricket fans and others laud his courage. “I have never such a spirited cricketer in my life”, said organizing committee president Amar Chaudhary.
