The decision to provide ex-gratia was taken at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, officials said.
NDFB militants indiscriminately shot dead seven employees of the state and central government at Doimora area near Seijosa yesterday. Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today condemned the incident and termed it as "shocking and unfortunate".
In a statement, the party said that such barbaric acts of militants was "highly condemnable and such elements have no place in peace loving Arunachal Pradesh."
The party appealed to both the state governments of Assam and Arunachal to take immediate action to instill a sense of security among the people.
