This 44-seater, no-frills restaurant - the brainchild of the Cordon Bleu chef and Penguin's cookery series editor, Bhicoo Maneckshaw, and her son-in-law, Sunil Chandra, formerly of The Oberoi - has survived for over a decade dishing out good old-fashioned Continental food to the city's lunching ladies, the expats and the shoppers at Santushti. It has a limited menu, but the star attractions have remained the same over the years - Crepes Gratin (topped up with parmesan or chicken), Croissants (mushroom or chicken), Pita Bread with smoked chicken, lettuce and mustard, Chicken Liver Paté and Tiramisu, washed down with the divine Ginger Fizz. The restaurant is almost always full, so don't go without making reservations and be prepared to be told that they've run out of your favourite dish.
