Addressing an election meeting here tonight, he said "the communal" BJP-led Government at the Centre and "anti-labour" AIADMK Government in Tamil Nadu should be removed.

He said Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's claim that the next BJP Government would be pro-labour was "the biggest joke", as the people of the state knew how she dealt with the strike by government employees last year.

He said the BJP Government promised employment to one crore people. But, during the five years of BJP regime, lakhs of people had lost their jobs.
