The BJP unit in Rajkot on Monday organised a drama, enacting the hanging of Mohmmad Afzal Guru, who has been awarded death sentence in Parliament attack case, at Tricaun Baug area to highlight the party's protest against his clemency demand.
The drama was organised by BJP district unit to create awareness among the people over Congress-led UPA government's policy, former BJP MP Shivlal Vekaria said.
He also criticised Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and his predecessor Farooq Abdullah for favouring clemency for the accused.
"One, who killed nine persons in the Parliament attack, should be hanged without delay," he added.
