The bodies of two students, who had gone missing from their school, were today found from a field near Bishnupur in South 24-Paraganas district.

Bapi Mondal and Bappa Mondal, studying in 8th class, did not return from the school yesterday and the bodies were found from a field near their village.

A class-IX student of the same school, Mantu Mondal, has been arrested in this connection, police said.

Police suspect the duo was beaten to death.
