Bomb scare in Surat district court

A person had rung up the police station at Umra, claiming that a bomb was planted inside the court premises.

A bomb disposal squad has been rushed to the district court in Surat, following an anonymous call that a bomb was placed there, police said on Thursday.

A police team was conducting the search of the six-storeyed court complex, police inspector RJ Jadeja said.
