It was a truly a dog's world at the wedding ceremony of a dog trainer here. At least a dozen pooches arrived with bouquets and gifts to accompany the bridegroom's procession at the marriage venue of Vinod Kumar.

For Vinod, who has been training pooches for over 10 years now, the presence of the Labradors, Mastiffs, Pugs and Golden Retrievers, who came with their masters, was more symbolic that just fun.

"Whatever I have achieved in life was due to dogs. They have given me everything and are the source of my livelihood. It was hard for me to keep them away from my wedding," he said.

A day before the wedding, he had organised a small party for his friends where again the canines trained by him were invited.

He called up owners of pets to invite the dogs for his wedding Saturday to Patiala girl, Manu. "Our dog was invited. We are only accompanying him," said one enthusiastic owner as he held his dog on a leash.

When Vinod's procession arrived, some of the pooches stood up on two legs to greet the trainer with folded hands.
