A BSF constable was arrested today for allegedly raping his colleague's eight-year-old daughter in Assam's Karimganj district.

A BSF constable was arrested today for allegedly raping his colleague's eight-year-old daughter in Assam's Karimganj district, police said here.
The police said Raju Raina, lured his next door neighbour's daughter when she was playing and raped her in his house at Masimpur BSF camp on May 14.
The girl's father complained to BSF authorities who initiated departmental proceedings against Raina.
The father lodged an FIR against Raina yesterday following a local court's ruling to arrest him, sources said.
