Talking to mediapersons, he said there were three physicians elected as people?s representatives from the district. But all three had failed to draw the government?s attention to the shortage of doctors at the district hospital.

Talking to mediapersons, he said there were three physicians elected as people’s representatives from the district. But all three had failed to draw the government’s attention to the shortage of doctors at the district hospital.
Regarding Japanese Encephalitis (JE) Dr Srivastava said the disease continued to play havoc with the lives of innocent children. However, the State Government failed to take any positive step in this regard.
He said that the government planned to shift the proposed virology centre from Gorakhpur to Lucknow. He party would oppose the move, he added.
He further said that much- hyped Regional Diagnosis Centre at the district hospital in Gorakhpur was in a bad state due to shortage of para-medical staff.
