Managing Director of Noida-based Travancore Management Resource Natasha Kohli has evinced interest in bankrolling Rani Yadav.
Personal Assistant to Kohli, Surjit Singh on Friday rang up HT in Varanasi to find out Rani’s details and informed about the MD’s desire to fund Rani’s sporting career. HT had carried Rani’s story on December 17.
Rani, fourth among seven children of Subedar Yadav (a small time farmer) in Jagatganj area of Varanasi is at present representing Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKV) university at All India Inter-University Athletics Championship underway at Ernakulam (Kerala). In 2008, Rani has won four gold medals in 10-km walk at the national level.
