Choithram Hospital celebrates anniversary

CHOITHRAM HOSPITAL and Research Centre celebrated its 10th anniversary here on Monday. On the occasion, school students were shown the live demonstration of open-heart surgery. Assistant director (Hospital Services) Dr Amit Bhatt said that 265 students of Class XI and XII from different schools like Choithram School, South Campus, Choithram International, St Raphael?s, Tirathbai Kalachand School and Gujarati Kanya Mahavidyalaya attended the programme.

Cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon Dr Mukesh Modh and anaesthetist Dr Meena Chadha performed the surgery. During the demonstration doctors also answered the queries of students. Cardiologist Dr C B Chhabra and Dr Alkesh Jain were also present.

Three best queries raised by the students were rewarded by the hospital. Medical Record Hospital S Carleton proposed the vote of thanks.
