City Cong celebrates Rahul?s birthday
THE ZILA Congress Committee celebrated the 36th birthday of Rahul Gandhi at Kuthchery here on Monday. Appreciating Rahul?s efforts in the Rae Bareli elections, convenor of the programme Prakash Pandey said he played a major role in the victory of Sonia Gandhi. Speaker Brijesh Tripathi conducted the programme. He said Rahul would prove to be an outstanding personality.

Meanwhile, members of the Shehar Yuvak Congress organised a programme at Chaman Ganj to celebrate the birthday of Rahul Gandhi.
Joint secretary of the Shehar Yuvak Congress Atik Ahmed said the future of the country was in Rahul’s hands. Later, he also distributed sweets.
At another place, activists of the Chhatra Yuva Congress celebrated Rahul’s birthday. They distributed sweets in Muslim-dominated areas.
Several others, including city president of the Chhatra Yuva Congress Hayat Zafar Hashmi, Mohammad Rihan Khan, Mukhtar Khan, Ramesh Mishra, Rajesh Jaiswal, Ramesh Singhwani, Abdul Rahman were present on the occasion.
The Zila Congress Committee (cultural wing) also celebrated Rahul’s birthday.
