Close banquet halls in residential areas: HC
The Delhi High Court ordered MCD to close down all banquet halls functioning in the Capital's residential areas.

The Delhi High Court on Friday ordered the MCD to close down all banquet halls functioning in the Capital's residential areas.
"Running of banquet halls are a perennial source of nuisance for residents," a division bench of Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Rekha Sharma ruled.
"The operation of such halls cause traffic congestion in the city, and they should go forthwith," the bench added.
