Cognizant Technologies picks up 161 OIST students

A GOOD 161 students of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) have been given offer letters by Cognizant Technologies Solutions (CTS).

A GOOD 161 students of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) have been given offer letters by Cognizant Technologies Solutions (CTS).

Cognizant Technology Solutions conducted a campus drive at Oriental Group of Institutes on February 13 and more than 600 students from Oriental College of Science and Technology, Bhopal and Thakral College of Technology, Bhopal, participated in this drive.

The HR team who recruited the students consisted of 21 members from CTS, Pune. The offer letters were distributed on February 14 in the OIST auditorium.

CTS vice president Debashis Chatterjee and RGPV vice chancellor Dr PB Sharma handed over the offer letters to students. Five Orientalites who got their offer letters at the TransITion-07 held at Pune organised by Cognizant, were also acknowledged. In this national level event, where 19 top colleges of India, including REC’s & NIT’s had participated OGI bagged the overall champion’s trophy.

OGI chairman KLThakral congratulated the selected students. He also congratulated Director Training & Placement department Anuj Garg and his team.
