The decision to undertake a 'padyatra' was taken at a meeting of the party's central observers here which was presided over by party general secretary Mukul Wasnik.

Imran-ur-Rehman Kidwai, chairman of the party's minorities department, said the padyatras will focus on "corruption" of the Nitish Kumar-led coalition government in the state.

Kidwai said that during the campaign the party will raise the issue of "irregularities in withdrawal of Rs.11,000 crore from the state treasury” and “corruption in implementation of central schemes."
