Four persons were killed and two others injured in separate militancy-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir since Friday night, official sources said on Saturday.

Ultras shot dead a militant-turned-counterinsurgent Abdul Rashid Khan at Bandipura market in Baramulla district on Saturday. A woman, identified as Hashima, was also killed in the firing incident while her son was injured, the sources said.

They said one person belonging to Gujjar community was killed and another injured when they stepped on an explosive device in Ketsal forests of Bandipura area. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Yousuf Chechi, they added.

Police has recovered a body from Shopian area of Pulwama district, the sources said adding, the identity of the person was being ascertained.
