Country-made arms recovered, five arrested

Police have recovered 15,00 cartridges and eight country-made pistols from village Kamsar near here and arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in this connection.

Ramavtar, Prem Singh and Malaprasad, residents of Rajasthan, had come here to purchase country-made weapons. The trio along with the gun house owner Vikram Singh Premi and its salesman Rakesh Kumar were arrested on Friday, a police officer R K Chaturvedi said here.

Chaturvedi said that Premi has confessed that he was indulged in supplying arms and ammunition to various gangs in Rajasthan.
