Contactmusic.com reports that there were rumours that Craig was going to play the role. But Craig clarified that he is not interested in playing a superhero.

He said: "No. It doesn't interest me at all. Absolutely not. You sit these things out and if anything, it's a time to be more loyal and committed to your country. This is my home. It always will be."
