Credibility crisis

With reference to the editorial At the end of the corridor it was all Maya (June 9), people seem to have lost faith in the CBI, which in its eagerness to please its political masters, has compromised on credibility.

Unless it is freed from the clutches of politicians in power, and allowed to function independently, it cannot be taken seriously.
