Culkin was urging his fans not to read too much into his upcoming semi-autobiographical book called Junior,Ananova.com reported.

"I hope people don't think I am crazy because I am not. I have led a very isolated existence since I was six-years-old. It is kind of been me and my mind," he said.

Culkin turned to writing when he couldn't find any acting jobs and says it turned him into a bit of a recluse.

He rose to fame in the role of Kevin in the Home Alone series. He was a close friend of singer Michael Jackson and is also the godfather of Jackson's first child.

Culkin got married at the tender age of 17 but divorced just two years later.
