Dalit advocates? network to be formed

WITH THE objective to constitute a network of Dalit advocates and activists in the State and to formulate a concrete plan to combat difficulties in implementation of SC/ST Act and other Dalit laws, a legal training workshop of Dalit lawyers and social activists will be organised at Allahabad University Student?s Union Hall at 10 am on Sunday.

Allahabad High Court Justice RC Deepak and former judge and member UPPSC Bhagwant Prasad will address the inaugural session.

According to information, Dr Prasad of Hyderabad, Elizabeth of Supreme Court, Mahesh Bora of Jodhpur High Court, Dr NK More of Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Suman Jana of Lucknow and a Dalit thinker Kapil Deo will train the participants of the workshop.
