This 45-cover takeaway joint has been catering piping hot biryani in earthen handis all over the city from the Defence Colony Flyover since 1986. The handis come with pouches of garlic-flavoured Burhani Raita and in six sizes, priced between Rs 130 and Rs 4,500. The smallest handi is good enough for one person, but you can also order the jumbo handi, which can feed 8-10 people, the party handi for 12-15, or the golden jubilee handi for 50-60 people. The biryanis – the choices are vegetarian, fish, chicken and mutton – stay warm for up to three hours. And yes, don’t forget to sample their kebabs – together with the biryanis, you can throw a party with just Deez.
